Members of the Audit and Accountability Committee at all ranks are subject to the below regulations in all cases. The Public reserves the right to make a complaint to a member of Audit Command or the O5 Council regarding allegations of misconduct; all cases are treated as legitimate and will be investigated.
This subsection will go over the general conduct and behavior expected from Analysts within the Committee.
Analysts must comply with the Code of Ethics and all other legislation which applies to them.
Analysts must observe the Committee Ethos.
Analysts must abide by ROBLOX and Discord's terms of service.
Analysts must always uphold an amazing public image.
Analysts must be courteous to others.
Analysts must not display legitimate elitism at any point.
Analysts may never display elitism at any point, joking or otherwise.
Analysts should act as though they are a mix of law enforcement and customer service. You should behave as though you do have authority over personnel, however you should never flaunt that authority or speak down to personnel as a result.
Minimum punishment for elitism is a strike for minor offenses.
If you are still unclear on this, you are expected to contact a member of the Chief of Staff for further clarification.
Analysts must not participate in and must report any actions meant to harm Paragon or any person legitimately.
Analysts may not claim to illegally possess, disseminate or otherwise distribute classified information.
Additionally, Analysts may not claim to violate any foundation legislation that they are bound to.
Analysts must maintain a respectable appearance on site at all times.
Analysts must always use full grammar when on team, but must maintain proper spelling when off team.
Analysts are expected to use common sense when on site and are expected to follow all legislation unless explicitly told otherwise.
Analysts are disallowed from completing assignments for their departmental command (ie making documents, complying evidence), however may advise them on matters if the need arises to prevent further issues (ie, advising them on the appeal process).
Analysts may issue orders to members of other departments on-site, subject to the following restrictions as determined on a case-by-case basis by command.
Analysts may only order non-AAC personnel when needed to complete AAC Duties (as highlighted in Section 5 and other regulations within this document). This authority is to be used as sparingly as possible.
During non-Normal protocols, Analysts are instructed to let departments perform their own duties and only utilize their authority if absolutely necessary (e.g. to prevent immediate and significant harm or damages to persons).
Issues with Analysts misusing their designated authority should be brought directly to Audit Command.
Analysts are expected to abide by the following regulations on on-site utilities:
Analysts may only use the weapon “M9”. You may not use weapons issued to you by entities, persons or through a particular permission unless permission is sought.
All Analysts may use Character Clothes or the “AAC Suit” uniform.
Character Clothes must comply with CoE III. Chapter 1: Dress Code.
Character Clothes must be some type of period-accurate suit or other formal attire.
Analysts may not use deployables or throwable items under any circumstances. Examples include smoke or fragmentation grenades, snowballs and barriers.
The exception to this policy is Medkits; which must only be used by the placing analyst.
The Accountability & Performance subsection will go over other regulations expected of Analysts.
Analysts will not abuse or otherwise misuse their granted powers in any way.
Analysts must recuse themselves from tasks that present a conflict of interest.
Conflicts of interest include but are not limited to:
Monitoring a department the Analyst is within;
Inquiring friends or romantic partners.
Share a ‘Small Department’ with the subject.
Analysts must request recusal by a Chief of Staff member or above.
Chief of Staff and above may also remove Analysts from tasks with potential conflicts of interest.
Requesting recusal will not be seen negatively by Audit Command. Conversely, Analysts who neglect potential conflicts of interest will be harshly punished.
Certain exemptions apply to the Conflict of Interest regulation apply, all of the following criteria must be met before such exemption is granted;
Analysts are not a subordinate of the inquired subject.
Analysts exclusively share a large department with the inquired subject.
‘Large departments’ are defined as the Security Department, Scientific Department, and the Medical Department.
Detachments are excluded and you may not share a detachment with an inquiry subject.
If there is an Employment Inquiry for a command team position and you are a part of that command team, you may not conduct that inquiry.
Subordinate Analysts must comply with official orders from Analytics Supervisors and above.
Analysts must always obey the chain of command.
Illegal orders must be respectfully declined, clearly citing the law or policy which the order violates and immediately reporting such to their direct superior.
Analysts are expected to meet deadlines and complete all tasks unless notice is given to Command.
Analytics Supervisors and above evaluate activity.
Inactivity notices do not require approval unless the duration exceeds 21 days; however, a reason for all notices is required.
Audit High Command may deny an Inactivity notice under 21 days should they feel it necessary.
Analysts are accountable for any policy breaches which were apparent or preventable yet overlooked or neglected within their monitoring assignments.
Employment Inquiries may not be released to their subjects until at least 3 days after the subject has either been promoted or denied employment as a result of said inquiry.
Any Analysts disseminating Employment Inquiries per individual requests is responsible for ensuring that these rules have been met, whether by contacting the respective department monitor(s) or other means.
Tasks assigned by command members are expected to be completed within a certain timeframe set by the assigning command member.
Even if you are not currently assigned to something, prolonged inactivity will result in punishment, with the exception of those on Inactivity Notice.
All inactivity sanctions are issued on a case-by-case basis by Audit High Command. By extension, the punishment may vary depending on the given situation and individual involved.
Analysts are required to react to announcements or fill out any forms sent and required by command within the demanded timeframe.
This does not apply for Analysts and Staff on inactivity prior to any notices or requirements. Analysts and Staff who file Inactivity Notices after a notice is published are still expected to complete any requested tasks.
